This is what I think every time I start a new piece of work.
“Of course I constantly despair at my own incapacity, at the impossibility of ever accomplishing anything, of painting a valid, true picture or even knowing what such a thing ought to look like. But then I always have the hope that, if I persevere, it might one day happen. And this hope is nurtured every time something appears, a scattered, partial, initial hint of something which reminds me of what I long for, or which conveys a hint of it – although often enough I have been fooled by a momentary glimpse that then vanishes, leaving behind only the usual thing.”
I have just started reading 'The Secret History of the World' it is extremely interesting.
As many of my long-time readers know, I have been accepted to graduate school. Since the university is far away, this weekend I am moving to a new state and city I have never been to before. I am a little nervous, but mostly I am excited to create a new home for myself.
In preparation for this event, I have been doing a little research into Pagan, Wiccan, and witch homes and the related features, spells, and charms. A few things that I have found I am sharing with you. These can be adapted to apartments and dorms as well.
General Protection of the Property:
- Witch’s Bottles: These charms are a powerful filters of energy coming into your property. There are a lot of different variations and ingredients, so do a little research and find a blend that works for you. I like doing mine at the Saturday closest…

This magazine blog is looking for writers.
I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness, starving hysterical naked, dragging themselves through the negro streets at dawn looking for an angry fix, angelheaded hipsters burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry dynamo in the machinery of night, who poverty and tatters and hollow-eyed and high sat up smoking …
The children of the flesh of men, They pass from night to night; They weep and laugh and labor, then Are lost to human sight. Musing on such a fate, the mind Stirs with a tragic sense- So brave they walk the stage assigned, So soon they hurry thence. The children of the artist's brain …
What would be a interesting name for a art/literature/music magazine blog? Some ideas are below but please suggest any names you can think of.MuseBumblebeeExpress
A.K.A’s first collective piece within Beyond Colouring-In Exhibition.
“This is a Propaganda piece about how we will eventually become a code in a machine, this has already started in places such as China. The British government are trying to implement one identity card which acts as a passport and driving license as well. To implement the idea of the world collectively being downgraded to a code with no sense of identity, we made our own unique coding for each member within A.K.A.”
Each member has their own view on this topic. Here is each statement by the individual artist:-
“As part of A.K.A we have collectively agreed upon what the future beholds to all society and all artists alike. My vision of the future is a dystopian one. Technology will enhance wondrously, but will cattle our identities, the government taking away our freedom in doing so. With this…

A couple of friends and I went to Venice at the end of January for three nights and four days for the culture an art gallery's.
2. I will set aside time each day to make art or think about art. The amount of time is not important.
3. I will set concrete goals for myself, and then take the steps to reach them, even though it will be difficult and scary.
4. I will write down a list of things I have avoided doing (example: showing artwork in public, calling a gallery to see if they are accepting submissions.) I will do these things.
5. I will not be self-deprecating when speaking about my art. While I can recognize a need for improvement, I will also honor the labor and vision of my art.

Going to see 'The Nutcracker' with The Russian State Ballet tomorrow in Cardiff. I can not wait, I have always loved the ballet, like a lot of other young girls I attended ballet classes up to the age of eleven before my interest diverted to the other arts. There is always something magical about this specific dance, …
Christmas is always filled with different emotions for me. I am normally fed up of Christmas within the first two weeks of December, I think because the stores start advertising during the beginning of November, plus all my money is normally gone by then. Yet I enjoy Christmas day as I can relax for the first time …
Haha so true 🙂
All these statements are ones I’ve heard. Once was enough.
1. “Oh, you are a writer! Would I have read anything you wrote?” I have no idea where to start with that answer. How would I know what you read? Am I supposed to ask you that? Or just duck my head and say, “Probably not. I’m not famous.”
3.” You didn’t self-publish? You know, if you did, you can control your marketing plan.” I can do all the marketing I want with my publisher, too.
4. “Why would anyone not want to self-publish?” Because I’m not a distributor and my publisher gets my book into stores I didn’t know about. Better than i could do.
